This offers lifting power and strength up to four times conventional graphite rods. Tournament Concept 7’9 3-10g 2-piece
Built specifically for softbaiting for canal monsters, the Tournament Concept 7’9” 3-10g is the ideal combination of lightweight, sensitive, durable and powerful. At 7’9” in length it is capable of long casts with light jigheads while retaining an impressive amount of sensitivity allowing you to stay in touch with your lure throughout the water column. The incredibly tough UFR blank makes it much more durable than other light graphite rods keeping mishaps with the tip to a minimum. Once hooked up the powerful butt section has a huge amount of lift for such a lightweight rod allowing you to keep the fish under control and away from snags. While primarily designed for canal softbaiting it is more than capable of rolling eggs during the winter season and is equally at home on any of New Zealand’s other fantasic freshwater fisheries.
